Bakasyunan Resort, Iba Zambales 2010
I do appologize for the very late post because I just started blogging. This getaway was my first ever company outing since I just graduated way back then.
We stayed at Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center located at Iba, Zambales.(March 2010) A not so good resort for me, and so as to the beach in front of the resort. I am not aware about the rates beacause the company shouldered all the expenses. You might wanna check their website for rates. I somehow enjoyed the outing since it was my first time to ride in a banana boat and had snorkelling. It was totally amazing when I experienced swimming with the marine species underwater. For now, I cant share to you my total expenses. Just fine for an all expense paid outing.hahaha. Personally, I don't recommend this for a fantastic and a picturesque location for your getaway.
Thanks to Molave Internet Solutions anyway!

Anawangin Cove and Capones Island
A friend suggested this place somewhere in Zambales again. haha. Since I was looking for a cheap and accessible place to go to celebrate our (me and my boyfriend)monthsary, we decided to visit the place with friends. It is a 25-30 min banca ride from Pundaquit. What I liked about Anawangin is the challenge to survive since there is no electricity and signal. You have to cook for your own food, pump for your water when you have to take a bath, no signal. We went there during weekend, as expected, the place was crowded. You have to look for a good spot to place your tent. The sand in Anawangin is not so fine. You can see a sudden drop sign around the area. There isone sari-sari store where goods are doubled the price. We dropped by the Capones Island were the sand is white and fine. While heading to Capones, I was surprised when a dolphin suddenly appeared in the ocean.
Things to bring:
food to cook
utensils
charcoal or you can get firewood scattered on the ground
canned goods
flashlight
first aid kit
tent
How to get there:
From Manila
Victory liner bus to Iba, Zambales
Drop off at San Antonio, then ride a tricycle going to Pundaquit
ride a motorized banca from there going to the cove
Thanks to Tel and Onaj for the company!
